KICK SPY AWAY FROM TERMINAL

Have you ever felt uneasy, annoying, uncomfortable when there is a person (maybe someone you don’t like so much) standing behind looking at what you type in the console or terminal? Someone that has superb memorizing power that will remember each and every character you type on the terminal, and then spill it out character by character just like the world best copier; Or to avoid unnecessary questions by those pressing and annoying customers that know nuts but wanted to be bossy?

Afraid no more. The superhero stty command comes to the rescue. We can setup the terminal not to echo all the commands that you have type with stty. Type in

stty -echo

Now, no one will know what command your have issued. Don’t believe me? Try it yourself! You can now go impress your junior or even your superior, show them how well verse you are in linux/unix commands. When they ask why no command shows, just tell them the machine cannot cope with your speed of entering the command, only thing is do not tell them I told you. :P
