Remove Links or Hyperlinks
Direct copy and paste information form the web into the document that you are working on is very common now either for the corporate or the education institution. When you copy the links and paste to the document, the links will automatically imported into your document which you would not like to have because, obviously, you would not like your lecturer or customer to know your copy cat skill.
In OpenOffice, there is no clear GUI interface friendly enough for you to do that. But the function is there and here is how one can get it done :
- Highlight the links
- Right click on them
- Select Default Formating.
Or by default OpenOffice shortcut mapping, one can achieve with Control-Shift-Space shortcut key. This works also if you want to remove links that you created between documents.
