Singapore Airlines Airbus A380
My good friend has been again, travelled from Singapore to Japan for work. It is really nothing to him new except this time he is on Singapore Airlines’s Airbus (SIA) A380!
A380 ? What is that? Isn’t it just another aircraft?
Yes, it is just yet another aircraft. However, is not the normaly air craft. I am sure you heard of the well-known double-decker in London, Singapore, and Hong Kong or maybe the once my favourite junk food. Now this A380 magnificient comes with not only 4 engines , wider body, but it is double-deck! Singapore Airlines is the first to use A380 in commercial flight services.
This double-deck design is genius. It increases the power of the aeroplane to take more passenger. See below the diagram for the layout of the double deck to accommodate 550 seats. Click on the 2nd picture to get a better view of the double deck!.
According to my friend, the entertainment console in SIA is so much more advance. Like the one in the picture shown below, it has the USB port and also the LAN port that allows passenger to networked or transfer documents. That is what I call impressive.
